:: chroot and "kernel too old"
I run a very old Kubuntu, 8.04. The reason is that I am fun of KDE 3.5 (you may have guessed it), and when Kubuntu 8.10 was out, there wasn't Now that I have Mageia 3 aside, I tried again chroot. Same old story. Kernel too old. I tried to modify the version of the shell of Mageia as is suggested somewhere on net, which didn't work out. I didn't feel like tweaking glibc (on Mageia). So back to kernel compilation. Somehow I managed to compile 2.6.33 (I will post another article on it).
